Food is always solid.
Drinks can use work, been there several times and they have a weird balance of great food and sub par cocktails.
Delicious though and I gotta give them credit for that. -

Great place tucked away in a shopping strip right next to a tortillera restaurant, off of La Paz and before the 5.
Staff are very welcoming and I love the vibe and energy! Their food is beyond amazing and the hand crafted cocktails are so good and up to snuff!
Highly recommend their featured item, Signature Crispy Meyer Lemon & Honey Duck Wings $15.00, it's Jared's creation tossed in chili and chives! Oh my! This was my first time trying duck, and it was SATISFYING!
We also had their House Cut Herb Fries $7.00
Salt, pepper, and garden herbs
add pecorino and truffle +$3 so so good!
My favorite cocktail was the Gin, maraschino, lime, citrus thyme, grapefruit, blood orange bitters. My fave!
Will definitely come back! Courtney was our bartender, she is amazing! -

Came here to celebrate my birthday! We were here on a Monday evening and had a great time.
Ironwood is located in a small shopping center in Laguna Hills however the restaurant itself is beautiful and has a nice little view in the patio area. Parking was ample and close. The restaurant is upscale but you do not have to dress up. There were a variety of parties- some dressed up a little more while others were casual.
After placing our drink and appetizer orders we wanted to go out and enjoy the sunset so we brought our drinks to the patio area. When our appetizers were ready they sent someone to fetch us so our food wouldn't get cold!
We started off with the Signature Crispy Meyer Lemon & Honey Duck wings and Cast Iron Chefs Roasted Chefs Blend Mushrooms. The appetizers were delicious especially the honey duck wings (a must order)! To be honest, I enjoyed the appetizers more than I did on the entrees. For entrees we had the Herb Grilled Faroe Island Salmon & the Double R Ranch Bone-In Rib eye. I liked how the salmon came with a variety of roasted vegetables however I felt that the salmon was a little salty and it needed the vegetables to balance it out. The ribeye was fairly big and came with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a bacon mac n cheese to go with our entrees.
Since it was my birthday we also got a free dessert! Overall a beautiful laid back place for a night out. -

I came here for dinner with some family and friends and ended up sitting in the patio area on the back. First thing I noticed was this restaurant was a lot more casual than I thought, so you don't really have to bother dressing up.
They have a small menu but everyone was able to find some dish they wanted. I ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers, which ended up being pretty filling. Since we came in a large party we ordered a pretty good portion of the menu and were able to get a pretty good representation of what the restaurant had to offer.
Overall the food was delicious and the portions were more than adequate. Their menu did have a great variety of proteins available and vegetarian options. I especially liked the honey lemon duck wings and the roasted beets. Would definitely recommend for a group outing or a date night. -

Had this place bookmarked for a long time. Finally made it tonight with the spouse and my cousin. We didn't have a reservation on a Friday at 6pm but they have these "communal" tables for 6 people right when you walk in so we took a seat there. A lovely couple from the south sat next to us and they ended up sharing food and a laugh with us which was so nice. We started with the meat and cheese platter which was excellent. My cousin got the Mac and cheese which she really enjoyed. The hubs got beet salad (delish) and Brussels sprouts (also delish). I got the seafood special with the sauce on the side. It was cooked to perfection. If it gets dinged for anything i guess you can complain it's on the pricey side but really you're getting what you pay for. Will happily return.
